Straight out of college, San Diego-based co-founders Chase Fisher and Blake Jensen began setting the foundation for their lifestyle brand, Blenders Eyewear. In just a few years, the project has gone from sketches drafted in their living room to thriving e-commerce business. The brand’s ethos is simple, feel good and look good doing it. With a successful Indiegogo campaign, strategic marketing strategy, some great PR mentions, and a collaboration with Lollapalooza under their belt, things are looking bright for the upstart.
As you’ll see, the southern California ‘beach life’ vibe is a predominant source of inspiration for the design of these vibrant shades. It’s been crucial from the beginning that Blenders were of a high-quality at an affordable price point. Mission accomplished on both fronts. There are six distinct styles (including Polarized options) all with various combinations of frames and lenses to choose from with new iterations hitting their online shop all the time. Blenders ship to countries all over the world now with key retail relationships in Hong Kong, Brazil, Spain, and Japan in place. Domestically, they’ve developed relationships with surf shops and boutiques all over the west coast in addition to a key retail channel via Nordstrom stores across the country.
