It seams that Soulwax isnt the only dynamic duo getting into the documentary game. Justice previewing their film at the Chibuku Party in Manchester on November 8th where they will be playing along with DJ Mehdi, Busy P, So Me, Ivan Smagghe, Optimo Espacio, The Presets, Fake Blood, and Yuksek.

XLR8R TV continues to impress with their series of interviews. Episode 69 is particularly interesting. Drop the Lime/Curses! (Luca Venezia) has an interesting story. Topics include growing up in New York, gospel choir, Chicago house, and jazz guitar. Intrigued? The reigning “heavy bass champion” music gives us a look inside.
New The Futureheads video for the track “Walking Backwards” from their third studio album “This Is Not The World.” You can’t go wrong with muppets! The single will be released on August 4th. Make sure you pick it up!

There are a lot of people eagerly awaiting Soulwax’s official remix of MGMT’s “Kids” track. Only a chosen few have received promos thus far. Of course, Erol Alkan is one of those lucky few. Here is a video of Erol playing the track in his set at the T In The Park festival a couple of weeks ago. This is going to be huge!
A beautiful piece of drum and bass to smooth out the weekend. This one is off Danny Byrd’s recently released “Supersized” full length album on the legendary Hospital Records. Its getting some love from Radio 1 and all of the top drum & bass DJs. Make sure you go pick up the album!

This remix is fire!!!! But…unfortunately it will never see the light of day as a proper release or white label. Sebastien Leger has confirmed that it is only a DJ tool for his sets (so if you have downloaded this remix somewhere its not the real thing). He was inspired to do the remix after seeing Daft Punk live himself on their recent tour. He modeled the remix after the mix Daft Punk used for their show. So make sure you go out and see him DJ when he comes to your town and maybe you will be lucky enough to hear him drop this in his mix. From the looks of this video it looks like this track slays dance floors. TUNE!!!!!
