Russia’s The Proxy blessed us with a dark tune that has been a staple for most every big name DJ in recent months. “Raven” is getting an official release (10/8/2008) on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings with remixes from Marseille and Polymorphic. In honor of this release, he stopped by Radio 1 to lay down a mix full of electro nuggets.

Australia’s NEVEREVERLAND music festival is coming back in December to celebrate Modular’s 10th birthday. Last year, Daft Punk was a headliner as part of their first Australian tour. Starting to get some impressive work from a number of new artists in recent weeks. We promoted Mansion recently as they remixed fellow Canadian duo MSTRKRFT. These guys are getting a good amount of buzz in the electro-house blogosphere. Thus far, the work has been solid. Give their latest tune “Break Back” and leave some comments/feedback.
The four track “Shake It” EP is the first taste of original Trevor Loveys material off the new Tragic Magic label he recently launched with Affie Yusuf. “Byrdy Beatz” and “Shake It” are both big room monsters. Give them a listen and scoop up the full EP!
